We understand that organising a new fundraising project for your students takes time to organise. However, this project not only benefits children from low to no income families but also the students who participate in creating these educational bags for children less fortunate than themselves. When visiting Ukraine to help distribute these bags, one boy called Daniel said…“I can’t believe other children have made these bags for us”.
ACTION:-   Firstly, decide how many bags your class or school want to fill. It may be that a whole class fills one bag  so everyone can take part – There is a £5 registration fee per bag. This fee includes:-
  •  Your requested number of ‘Bags of Education’ draw string bags
  • Leaflet with contents list and instruction guide
  • FREE – return postage of your filled ‘Bags of Education draw string bags
  • Packing and transportation of your bags to Ukraine and Bulgaria
  • Distribution of your bags to children in vast areas of the countries.
  • Thank  you card and information on where your bags have gone
  • Presentation  material and video to share with your students
(PLEASE NOTE) There is a minimum order of 3 bags
Next, think of fun and quirky ways for the class to raise the £5 registration fee and contents.
EXAMPLES:-
  • Holding a Tombola at the school fete day
  • Mufti Day – perhaps using colours of Ukraine and Bulgaria
  • Each child to bring in £1 towards the registration of the contents
  • Ask the children to bring in small change e.g 5p, 10p etc and see how far it stretches
  • Each child to bring in items from the contents leaflet i.e pencils, rulers, lined books etc
